Cabrio-Hotels are making a Mercedes-Benz SLK available for their guests

'Alpentouristik', the well-known specialist for adventure holidays, is taking by surprise with a completely new holiday concept. Guests in selected hotels in especially scenically beautiful regions will in future have the chance to take off on their delightful trips in the neighbourhood from their hotel using a Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster. From May 2008, our hoteliers will have a new Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Roadster ready for this.

Our hotels themselves will be meeting high quality criteria so that drivers of this Roadster will have the best holiday of all.

They are all 4 or 5 star hotels with parking spaces in garages so that these precious cars will be kept safe.

"Good hotels and friendly hosts in the most beautiful regions". This is the credo of Cabrio-Hotel.

Our hoteliers live according to this credo themselves. Only in this way can our guests be guaranteed such good all round advice.

Where are the most beautiful passes? Where is the best weather for a trip without rain, and where is the best place to stop for a proper snack? Such questions do not faze our hoteliers. Most of them are fanatical open top drivers or enthusiastic bikers.

At the moment there are already 14 Cabrio-Hotels in Tyrol, Salzburg, South Tyrol and Allgäu operating – more are to follow.

Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster

This fascinating two-seater  Mercedes-Benz takes guests of our four and five star hotels over impressive alpine passes, to majestic mountains and to picturesque villages. In the process they enjoy breath-taking views and intensive adventures that can only become so closely apparent in a Roadster. In addition, you are guaranteed fun when driving. With 120 kW/163 horse power and an agile chassis this exciting sports car offers excellent levels of performance that make each trip a sheer pleasure. Driving with the roof off is even possible at low temperatures because the Mercedes-Benz SLK is equipped with a world exclusive – a head room heating system known as AIRSCARF.

'Alpentouristik' attaches a great deal of importance to the high standard of its holiday offers. Therefore our company has decided to go for the successful Mercedes-Benz Roadster that is available for testing. Our hotels also have to fulfil high quality criteria and, for example, offer wellness facilities for relaxation. Our hotel guests can either go off on their own tours with the adventurous SLK Roadster or they can take their bearings using the hotel's carefully developed suggestions for tours, so that none of the best views will be left out.
